AECP held its ninth annual Green Living and Energy Expo at the Roanoke Civic Center on November 7 and 8, 2008. Over 2500 people attended the two-day event, which featured over 90 exhibits, demonstrations and workshops. Mayor David Bowers of the City of Roanoke opened the event on Friday morning. Workshops included presentations on the Green Economy and Green Workforce, Hybrid Vehicles, Wind Energy, Solar Energy, Geothermal Heat Pumps, and Energy Efficient Landscaping.
