Landscaping

  • Plant deciduous trees on the south and west sides of your home. This will help keep your house cool in the summer and allow sun to shine in the windows in the winter.
  • Deflect winter winds by planting evergreen trees and shrubs on the north side of your home.
  • Plant trees wherever you can because they absorb carbon dioxide and help to reduce the build up of greenhouse gas which is attributed to global warming
